Allergies are our body’s over-reaction to common natural and synthetic things in the environment around as called “allergens” or allergy causing agents. Allergens can include things such as food, drugs, pollen, mold spores, animal dander, etc.
The good news is that allergies can be treated but in order for that to happen, patient must be able to recognize his/her specific allergens, talk to the doctor or the pharmacist about available treatment options, and finally make lifestyle changes to reduce exposure to allergens.
